Rachelle is a 22 year old resident of Tecumseh and is an alumni of Tecumseh High School. She recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration and she will be pursuing her Master’s of Business Administration there this winter. Rachelle works for ProMedica Health System as a personal trainer and outreach coordinator at The Fitness Connection in Tecumseh.
Rachelle’s platform is Start Fit, Stay Fit. She has taken part in many programs and activities that focus on educating her community’s youth on the importance of being physically active and fit. She is currently teaching The Alliance for a Healthier Generation’s empowerME4Life curriculum at Tecumseh Middle School and hopes to expand that program to the Washtenaw community. It is an 8-week after school healthy living course aimed at teaching kids the importance of being active and eating right. Rachelle believes that teaching children the fundamentals of living a healthy lifestyle now will lead to a healthier America.
Rachelle performed a vocal performance to “Break it to Me Gently” to win the title of Miss Washtenaw County.
In her spare time, Rachelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, running and lifting weights, shopping, and catching up on her sleep!
